PowaKaddy has expanded its award-winning range of power trolleys with the launch of the world’s first all-new RX Remote range, which, for the first time in the brand’s history, includes touchscreen remote control capability with built-in GPS.

The RX1 and the RX1 GPS boast a remote-control handset that has a 50-metre range, giving golfers wireless control of their electric trolley from the palm of their hand.

The RX1 is equipped with a 3.5-inch full-colour display, while the RX1 GPS features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display which is pre-loaded with over 40,000 courses worldwide, with no annual fees or subscriptions required. The RX1 GPS trolley also benefits from a Bluetooth Connected App for iOS and Android that allows for wireless golf course updates.

The remote control function on the RX Remote trolleys has a range of up to 50 metres

Other features shared by both models include a swivel front wheel; powerful twin 30v 230w motors; a Smartphone/GPS device USB charging port; an anti-tip rear wheel, a height-adjustable soft touch handle.

Both models, which come with a two-year warranty, are powered by Powakaddy’s next-generation Lithium 30v Max Plug ’n’ Play XL-Plus battery, which is 40% smaller than the previous model while delivering up to 20% more power.

The RX1 (£1,119.99) and RX1 GPS (£1,449.99) headline PowaKaddy’s new and improved 2023 range and sit alongside the company’s FX and CT ranges. The CT range will feature a number of new updates this season, including a fresh look to the CT6 trolley, while the FX range will see a new line up featuring the popular FX3 and FX5 trolleys.

The RX Remote boasts a swivel front wheel for easy manoeuvrability, a rear wheel for uphill stability, plus the brand’s smallest most powerful Plug ‘n Play lithium battery
